Last weekend my coursemates went to Cameron Highland but i’m not joining them as i already planning to go home on last Friday with my hometown friend. Never mind, next time la ya~

I think my holiday would be fun because i do plan something to do as stated below:

First and foremost, i’ll finish watching the video that borrowed from friends.

Then, joining some scout’s activity which introduced by my previous secondary schoolmate.

Ask hometown friends to hang out.

Next, organizing a class gathering to gather my previous secondary classmates.

Waiting for final exam results.

Then, preparing to be facilitator during MMP (Minggu Mesra Pelajar)

How’s your holiday? Hopefully the holiday not wasted, haha…

It’s about 3rd week of the exam already, and i had finished 5 papers, still have 2 papers to go on.

7th May will be testing thinking skill in education paper, and i don’t know what should i focus until now, just look through the notes. Hopefully i am able to fill in the answer although it is not the exact answer, at least i’m not passing up an empty paper, hehehe…

i was failed to online for a week, so suffering. Today can access internet, so happy. Look like my happiness is easily to fulfill, haha! :-p

Now, i miss my home very much! So many people finish their exam and start packing the luggage preparing to go home, so jealous with them… However, i know that i will be like them too in 3 days later, so i have to wait patiently… Time passing fast, hehe…

ya, time passing fast, i’ll be a 3rd year student by next semester. Unbelieveable! 2 more years to go on and i’ll graduate, my feeling… can’t explain in words…

My group’s Team Teaching

At last, we finish our team teaching today. Yeah!

We have started to prepare this team teaching two weeks ago, we scratch our head hardly so that the idea could pop out, do you really believe in my words? I’m just joking, haha…

First and foremost, we choose the topic that we want to teach, then we try to figure out which thinking skills could be applied in the lesson, as to fulfill the requirement, teach students about thinking skills. We decide to teach Form 4 Additional Mathematics on Chapter 3: Quadratic Equations. The subtopic is about how to plot a graph.

Next, what we are going to do? We planning how the team teaching will be conducted first. Now, what should we start with? Graph…ya, we can show the real “graph” in real life by using balls. Balls…what kind of balls we have to use? Scratch, scratch, scratch again… Oh ya, ping pong ball! What else? Basketball? Too big we think…not suitable because the mikro room too small. Hmm…At last, we get our various kind of balls! Guess, what balls we will use? The answer is: ping pong, tennis ball, hockey ball and takraw ball. Weird? hehe…

After showing the motion of the balls, what is the next step? Surely relate the demo with the topic we want to teach. How about the lesson content? We prepare 4 type of graphs, let them observe the differences between the graphs and get more understanding and try to analysis themselves. We will show them how to plot a graph on a grid paper before letting them do the discussion. So, the teaching aids we are going to use: OHP and whiteboard. Looks like boring? Not attractive? Then you are totally wrong…Actually those teaching aids is the best in teaching mathematics subject. If not, students will find hard to understand how the solution coming out.

Yes, after discussion part finish, we invite 4 groups send a volunteer to present their answer. Seems like they can learn very well, ha… Then, the end of lesson around the corner, the students will be asked to reflect what they have learned in whole lesson, by using Venn Diagram and Sequence Map to guide them. Yup, well done, they make it!

Hmm…After the team teaching finished, my group will be evaluated by tutor, Dr. Sharifah. As we wish, our team teaching successful and she likes it very much! Yes! Feel so good! haha…

[ Priscilla, Catherine, Hui Shi, Dr. Sharifah, Flora, Caleb ]

Thinking about my weakness

Have you ever face this situation too?

I notice that, most of the time, when I was given a question, I could not give a proper answer. However, after the session finish, I will suddenly get reasonable answer in my mind which I think it must be a very good answer. Unfortunately, I miss the chance to perform well. Sincerely, I will feel a bit regret…

I always think…

Why this happen to me? Why I cannot react spontaneously? Why? Why? …

Am I not good enough? Am I slow in mind? Am I lack of knowledge? Am I lack of experience? …
